What members work towards

Three aims. Your effort. Honest support.

These are aims, not guarantees. The work happens in your business between meetings.

01

Better profit

Know the numbers that drive margin and act on them every quarter, not just at year end.

02

Stronger managers

Develop people who make good decisions without you, then hold them to clear expectations.

03

More freedom

Reduce how much the business depends on you being on site, on the phone and in every decision.

Suitability

Is this the right room for you?

This campaign is aimed at established landscape businesses around £1m turnover and above. That is a campaign focus rather than an admission cut-off. Business stage and challenges decide fit.

Likely a good fit

  • You run an established landscape business with a team and managers.
  • Growth has made the business more complex to lead.
  • You will bring real challenges and share your numbers.
  • You want accountability from peers, not a lecture.

Probably not yet

  • You want one-to-one coaching or Nick on call.
  • You are looking for a fixed course to work through.
  • You would rather not share figures with peers.
  • You need a guaranteed outcome before starting.
The annual rhythm

Twelve touchpoints. One clear cycle.

A private two-hour Zoom meeting in each of the two months between quarterly Strategy Days. Across a full year that is eight private group meetings plus four included Strategy Days.

Illustrative cycle only. Your group's actual start month is discussed in the suitability conversation.

In the room

Nick facilitates the live challenges members bring. There is no fixed teaching syllabus. The group thinks it through, decides and commits.

Between meetings

KPIs, Focus Sheets and accountability help you follow through. Full Landscape Business AI Assistant access provides practical guidance between sessions. This is AI guidance, not Nick personally or live one-to-one coaching.

Your facilitator

Nick Ruddle

Nick has coached UK landscape businesses since 2007. He is an ActionCOACH business coach and personally facilitates the private group meetings. His role is to ask useful questions, challenge assumptions and help owners identify clear priorities and commitments.

Below, two owners talk about their experience of coaching with Nick. These are coaching experiences, not Black Belt Peer Group results.

John Ward. An experience of coaching with Nick, not a result of this peer group offering. Loads from YouTube when selected.

Questions

Straight answers

Is this one-to-one coaching?

No. Black Belt is a peer group personally facilitated by Nick. It does not include one-to-one coaching or direct access to Nick between meetings. If you need individual coaching, say so in the conversation and Nick will be honest about which route fits.

Is there a fixed course or syllabus?

No. Nick facilitates the real challenges members bring, supported by KPIs, Focus Sheets and accountability. The agenda comes from your businesses.

Do I need a £1m+ turnover?

£1m+ is the audience for this campaign, not an admission cut-off. Your business stage, your challenges and how you would contribute to the group decide suitability. There is no automatic turnover or headcount rule.

Will a competitor be in my group?

Groups are matched to avoid local direct competitors sitting in the same private group. This is not an exclusive territory and it does not cover wider events.

What support is there between meetings?

Your KPIs, Focus Sheets and full access to the Landscape Business AI Assistant. Support between meetings comes from those tools, not from Nick personally.

When does the next group start and what are the terms?

The next available group, seat availability, any minimum term and cancellation terms are discussed openly during the suitability conversation. Nothing is assumed in advance.

Can I just join?

No. There is an application and a suitability conversation before anyone is accepted, so every member can trust the room.
